As part of\nJazz\u2019s recently pledged PKR 1.2 billion support towards Covid19 relief, this\ndecision to match customer contributions came at a time when the number of\nCOVID confirmed cases has surged to about 10,513 – according to government\nfigures. The matching contribution applies not just to the 61 million\nsubscribers, but also to Jazz employees who have voluntarily contributed up to\n3 days of their salary to the Fund. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aamir\nIbrahim, CEO Jazz said: \u201cAt this point, every rupee counts, and both urgency\nand strategy are needed to outdo the ghastly pandemic. We will match every\nrupee contributed by customers and employees. Subscribers\nwilling to contribute can easily send an SMS to 6677, use their JazzCash\naccounts to donate through the app or USSD (dial *786#) or make the payment via\nthe COVID relief website portal on Jazz.com.pk\/PMFund. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This\nprogram is expected to raise a substantial amount in contributions and will\nserve the health and food relief needs for those who have been left destitute\nby COVID-19 related lockdown via the PMs National COVID Relief Fund.
