Jazz and Pakistan International\nAirlines (PIA) have signed a MoU to facilitate the employees and passengers of\nPakistan\u2019s national carrier. The partnership is another stepping stone towards the\nextension of Jazz\u2019s digital services to an important segment of the economy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under this partnership, Jazz,\nPakistan\u2019s leading digital communications company, is seeking to provide the\nservices of an e-ticketing solution for seamless travel, a salary disbursement\nsolution for contractual\/daily wage employees, a pension disbursement\nsolution for pensionersandJazzCash Wallets for employees and pensioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The purpose is to provide ease in the lives\nof those who work with and travel with PIA. As such, Jazz will set up Jazz counters at airports enabling\ncustomers to pay through QR Codes for\nflight upgrades or excess luggage. Moreover, Jazz will sell exclusive GSM SIMs for passengers at\nPIA counters offering special packages for Umrah & Hajj. SIM Based cameras will also be provided for day\ncare centers at PIA offices, while MIFI devices will be given to PIA employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jazz CEO\nAmir Ibrahim, while talking about the partnership said, \u201cWe at Jazz are always\nlooking for ways to widen our network and enable a large and diverse group of\npeople to avail our services. That\u2019s why we\u2019ve joined hands with the national\ncarrier to facilitate both PIA passengers and its employees\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
