10Pearls celebrated the progress of AI in Pakistan through its initiative\nAI Summit 2019.<\/strong> The summit was held at ITCN Asia (Expo Center),\nKarachi and was well-attended by leading tech enterprises, start-ups and\nstudents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In line with its mission to embrace and promote\nemerging and disruptive technologies, 10Pearls launched AI Summit 2019, a pioneering conference + expo to facilitate the growth\nof Artificial Intelligence in Pakistan. The Summit was held on September 17, 2019 at ITCN Asia, in\npartnership with PASHA, Karachi.AI, Pakistan.AI and WomenInTechPK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The summit featured engaging\nspeaker sessions, panel discussions, interactive workshops, research\npresentations and most significantly, expo of the best contributions made by\nPakistani innovators in the field of AI. The event also provided a platform for\nall AI enthusiasts to come together, network with like-minded individuals and\ncompanies and give exposure to AI products created by Pakistanis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The keynote was\nconducted by Ghazanfar Ghori, CTO, 10Pearls\nwho shed light on the future of how AI can help the digital transformation of\ndifferent business sectors in Pakistan. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ghazanfar\nGhori said, \u201cAI will have the greatest impact when\neveryone can access its benefits. AI development and application will serves as\na positive force for the future of Pakistan in sectors such as healthcare,\nagriculture and tech businesses.\u201d  <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other speakers at\nthe summit included Keshan Sodimana – Co-Founder, OpenData, Michael Bugaj \u2013\nSenior Data Scientist, Kloud9, Dr. Sara Saeed \u2013 Founder & CEO at Sehat\nKahani, Omer Salimullah \u2013 Head of Open Banking & Ecosystem development, JS\nBank, Shahzeb Mirza \u2013 Head of Data Science at Daraz, Dr. Muhammad Khurram –\nAssociate Professor NED & Co-Founder Aqua Agro, Dr. Zia Babar \u2013 Researcher at\nUniversity of Toronto and Dr. Babar Hasan \u2013 Chief of Pediatric Services at\nAKUH. The speakers focused on issues such as AI revolutionizing Healthcare,\nAgribusiness, Fintech etc., and also the need to democratize AI and make it\nmore accessible to non-Machine Learning experts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to speaker\nsessions, research presentations and panel discussions, AI Summit 2019 also\nhosted hands-on workshops which covered deploying prediction model on Watson\nStudio, Kaggle & Exploratory Data Analysis, DialogFlow, Data Science using\npython and Machine learning for Computer Vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
