Lahore native Majid Khan, a graduate of Stanford University, has been working in the U.S. for the past two decades and has had a successful career investing in public and private companies globally. Most recently, he was a founding Principal at Tourbillon Capital, a $4 billion hedge fund in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked about the fundraising environment in Pakistan, Majid Khan stated, \u201cThe one thing that Pakistan has lacked thus faris access to funding. Indian venture capital investment was 10 times higher in 2018 at $5 billion, than has been invested in Pakistan over the last 10 years. So, they are investing 100 times more than us. This is why entrepreneurship and technology are booming in India. There is no reason, we in Pakistan cannot achieve the same.
