HDC 2019 featured\na number of key announcements: HUAWEI Mobile\nServices now boasts over 100 million users outside of China. In addition, an updated developer\nengagement program named \u2018Shining-Star\u2019 &nbsp;will be launched along with\nHUAWEI DigiX Labs that offers open capabilities for development and testing.\nHUAWEI announced the global launch of HMS-Core which provides 14 kits for more\nthan 910k global developers. Besides, a new content partnership for HUAWEI video\nis introduced at HDC 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIntelligent connections are the future. HUAWEI Mobile Services provides a global platform, connecting more than 910K global developers and 100 Million users outside of China\u201d,\u00a0 said Jervis Su, Vice President of Mobile Services, Huawei Consumer Business Group.<strong> <\/strong>\u201cThese connections make a real difference. With the HUAWEI Mobile Services portfolio, we have been able to show that there is real demand for a more intelligent solution. We are very proud to be able to announce a number of milestone successes for our portfolio.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These milestone successes for HUAWEI Mobile Services for the first half\nof 2019 include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>In-App Purchase (IAP) is now available in more than 140 countries.<\/li><li>The HUAWEI AppGallery generates 1 Billion+ apps downloads outside of China<\/li><li>Outside the Chinese market, over 280 Million Themes are being downloaded each year<\/li><li>HUAWEI Browser has reached 100% MoM growth since its launch outside of China in March 2019<\/li><li>HUAWEI Music is now available in 35 countries with over 30 million tracks. <\/li><li>HUAWEI Assistant will start its global roll-out from 2019 with top partners.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>\u2018Shining-Star\u2019 Program and DigiX Lab \u2013 investing in the future<\/strong>  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In keeping the momentum of these\nresults, Huawei announced a new developer engagement\nprogram, dubbed \u2018Shining-Star\u2019. The Project has invested 1 billion USD resources\nto provide comprehensive support for developers, and create a smart mobile\nservice innovation ecosystem, helping partners to create digital innovation in full\nscenario, encouraging developers to access Huawei&#8217;s open capabilities and\nservices, and promoting developers\u2019 services in the marketing segment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur \u2018Shining-Star\u2019 program is just one of many ways that\nHUAWEI is furthering innovation across the board\u201d <strong>comments Alex Zhang, President of Mobile Services, HUAWEI Consumer Business\nGroup. <\/strong>\u201cWe feel that many excellent and innovative ideas are lacking the\nmeans to show their true luster. In these labs, developers and partners all across the world can test\ntheir service remotely, also they can find all resources they need to develop\nthe apps and services of the future. The Labs are equipped with AR, VR, AI,\nCameraKit, Ability Gallery, HMS core and other open technological capabilities\nand offer a truly open space for innovative work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The introduction of the HMS\u2013core, a collection of HUAWEI developer kits\nsupport and augment functionality across devices. These kits work together\nseamlessly to ensure that HUAWEI devices provide a great user experience right\nout of the box. The global launch of HMS-core means in the trend of full-scenario\nintelligent connect. This motivates huawei to continue boost innovation and\nbring open-capability to developers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strong partners, Better future <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To engage with more partners and boost the partnership ecosystem, HUAWEI\nhas partnered with the best content providers in the world to offer unique\nviewing experience to their users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the HUAWEI Developer conference, Rabih I.
