ACCA and\nAtlas Copco Pakistan have agreed to work together for the promotion of\nsustainable business practices in Pakistan. Both the organisations will be\ncollaborating to develop future-ready talent to meet the requirements of a\ndigital age. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The focus of\ntheir partnership will be to train a new generation of professional accountants\nwho possess a right blend of digital, technical, ethical, strategic and\nprofessional skills to meet the future needs and demands of the increasingly\ndigitised profession. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
At an\nexclusive ceremony in Lahore, ACCA also announced the Approved Employer status\nfor Atlas Copco\u2019s operations in Pakistan to recognise company\u2019s efforts to\ninvest in their employees by providing specialist training. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at\nthe ceremony, Sajjeed Aslam, head of ACCA Pakistan said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOrganisations\nhave an important role to play in mobilising collaborative action to tackle\ncritical environmental challenges and socio-economic impediments to creating\nprosperity. Professional accountants will be central to delivering this\ncritical agenda that will be the new engine of global growth \u2013 now and into the\nfuture.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the\nceremony, Sohail Shahzad, Chief Executive, Atlas Copco Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd.\nemphasised on the importance of digitisation and sustainable commercial\nactivity. He shared that Atlas Copco with its global operations is a leading\nvoice promoting ethical business practices and environment friendliness. He\nalso ensured that the company is fully aware of its social and environmental\nimpact and is making every effort to use resources responsibly. Furthermore, he\nappreciated ACCA and its members\u2019 role in championing ethics, corporate\ngovernance and responsible business practices in Pakistan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
ACCA was also\nrepresented by Muhammad Shahid Khan, Head of Business Development \u2013 Central,\nand Ali Ashraf, Business Development Manager \u2013 Lahore. The ceremony also\nfeatured contributions from Atlas Copco\u2019s leadership, including Nauman Azhar,\nCFO, Anam Narjis Azhar, Lead Marketing Communication and Ahsan Fayyaz, Human\nResource Business Partner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
